Berliner Luft 2 in MALMÖ
presents Signa Sørensen and THE BLACK ROSE TRICK
which takes place non-stop in a peculiar hotel full of
endless stories and mysteries in its many rooms –
the maids’ chamber, the kitchen, the hospital room,
the lobby, the military control post and a night club
restaurant, where distinguished artists entertain the
hotel’s guests nightly.
The guests can check in for a short time, or several days
in a row in a bureaucratic universe where the institutionalized
community is the central point of focus, and where the
systems are constantly suspended, fragmented and transformed.
Guests follow hotel personnel, hotel guests and the ever-present
military forces 24 hours a day.

| Signa Sørensen is the
artist behind critically acclaimed projects including
57 Beds, Nightfinder and Nika is Dead. In the past several
years she has harvested a large and faithful Scandinavian
audience with her groundbreaking works. |
