Kenneth Harrison
Was born in 1967 in a British military hospital in Münster/Germany.
My father was an English musician in the army and my German
mother a housewife, raising four children. Straight after
I was born my family moved to Liverpool in England. We
stayed there for nine years until we moved back to Osnabrück/Germany.
I started learning the German language, went to elementary
school and at the same time took trombone lessons. After
two years at the music school I joined their youth orchestra.
Later on I would play in several different kind of bands.
With the age of 19 I finished school met a person who
was juggling in a park. I got fascinated straight away
and went out the next day to buy myself my own first juggling
balls.
During the day I would study to become a socialworker
and then juggled every day for many hours in my sparetime.
After joining the local juggling group and one year
of hard training I slowly started to perform. First
on the street until I got hired to perform on different
kind of events. I finished my education at the age of
23 and decided to become a fulltime performer.
I had heard about the school for performing arts in
Berlin and applied the same year. I spent three years
at the school. Afterwards I performed in many places
like in theatre plays, musicals, cabaret and on different
events. Two years after I was asked to join the German/French
contemporary circus GOSH and spent fours years with
them touring around all over Eorupe and abroad. Looking
for new challenges I moved to Copenhagen and started
working as a teacher at the AFUK. Besides teaching I
am performing solo and with others.
